D Day! Along with Sharing!

We had a Dang fun D-Day!  We learned a lot of the letter D as well as how to be good friends and share.  These kids are so fun!
We started our D day out by being D animals: Ducks, Dinosaurs, Dragons, and Dogs. We marched around the house like all of these animals. Then we moved on to Dotting our D's!
JoJo and Tanner both seemd pleased with the D's they got to Dot!

Carson was so smart. He reminded each of the kids throughout the day what the leter D says!
For snack we got to eat Donuts! Favorite for everyone, expect Tanner, who said he didn't want his so the other kids gladly shared it. Which fit in perfectly with the next part of our day!
We got to read one of my favorite books "The Rainbow Fish". For those of you who don't know the story...it's about a beautiful fish with glimmering scales.  He is asked by another fish to share his scale, but he doesn't want to. The fish soon finds himself without friends and very lonely.  The Rainboow fish learns to share his glimmering scales with all the fish in the ocean and learns that he has friends instead!  The kids were asked how they can be friends. They gave some great responses. Then, we made Rainbow fish with glimmering scales to take home and remind us to share!
